Program Overview
This Dual Credit offering is open to all ECSD high school students with schedules that support full-year morning or afternoon programming. Fourth year, graduated and upgrading students are welcome.
In partnership with NorQuest College, ECSD Dual Credit Program offers courses for students interested in becoming an office professional.
Today's administrative professionals are often the voice and face of the company. They must be dynamic and able to actively lead the crucial day-to-day functions of an organization. They can make decisions, multi-task, solve issues, understand technology, communicate effectively, and operate an efficient office, no matter what the type of industry.

Course Details
Full Year September 2026 – July 2027: Administrative Professional
Students will explore innovative trends and practices while acquiring the skills and knowledge relevant to current and future industry needs. This program is offered in a unique, fast-tracked format that gives you the opportunity to achieve a career in less than a year. Students’ complete classroom studies in ten months and then move on to one-month full-time practicum during the month of July.
Admission Requirements: English 30-1 or English 30-2: 50% minimum, Math 10C or Math 20-3: 50% minimum, Recommended typing speed of 25 wpm

- Upon successful completion students will earn 40 Career and Technology (CTS) credits towards a high school diploma and will receive the Administrative Professional Certificate from NorQuest College
