Revelation Online summer school offers a unique approach to online learning in that students can participate in an asynchronous (self-paced) classroom environment where they, their fellow students, and Edmonton Catholic School Division teachers collaborate during the scheduled delivery of their courses.
- Two 3 credit or two 5 credit courses is a maximum course load for Revelation Online summer school.
- All new Revelation Online students must take a 1-credit prerequisite CTS course called eLearning and Learning Management Systems.
- This course prepares students for online learning and teaches them how to use our learning platform, Desire2Learn. Please check your course information in Desire2learn during the first week of July to confirm the day and time of your final exam.
- Students must complete and submit all work and all exams no later than Tuesday, July 26th at 10:15am. Work submitted after this date will not be accepted.
- Upon completion of registration and payment, students will receive an email with information on accessing their online course.
- Students can begin their online course as early as Monday May 2nd.
- Teacher curriculum support will not be available to Summer School students until July 4th up to July 26th.
- Students taking an online course are required to attend in person for final exams. Midterm and Final Exams for Revelation Online Summer program will be in person at CCCAC Clareview (3802-139 Avenue).
