You're Invited: Ben Calf Robe Traditional Pow Wow

Please join us for the Ben Calf Robe Traditional Pow Wow on Saturday, May 10 at Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre (11000 Stadium Rd NW 2500, Edmonton) from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

The pow wow is a family-friendly celebration that has been held for over 40 years, inviting all Edmontonians to experience Indigenous culture. The event is free and will feature hundreds of dancers in full regalia, along with performances by drum groups and singers.

What began in the gym of St. Pius X Catholic Elementary School with fewer than 100 participants has grown into a major gathering, now welcoming between 8,000 to 10,000 attendees.

This year’s theme, Nehiyaw Pimatisiwin - Indigenous Way of Life, emphasizes the importance of preserving and passing on Indigenous culture to future generations.
