Join us for a newcomer family information evening on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre (9405 50 Street).

You will receive information about:

• School Procedures
• PowerSchool
• Busing
• Resources for English as an Additional Language Learner

Meet community partners and attend breakout sessions available in 9 languages:

• Amharic
• Chinese
• English
• Filipino/Tagalog
• Russian
• Spanish
• Tigrinya
• Ukrainian
• Vietnamese

Stay for some light refreshments and snacks following the breakout sessions.

Childcare
Childcare will be available on-site in the One World…One Centre office on the main floor of Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. 

Parking at Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre 
Please use the main parking lot east and south of Lumen Christi, as well as parking along the street. 

Entrance
Please use the west entrance (front doors facing 50th Street). The event will be held in Leadership Hall (second floor, west side of the building).
